The surf fishing is great right in front of SeaSide Inn. A popular free trolley runs from one end of the island to the other. Of course, there are wondrous wild shorebirds and dolphins that are easy to see, and if you’re lucky you’ll spot a gentle manatee lazing about in the shallows, or even a huge loggerhead turtle coming ashore at night to lay her eggs.
